Why is Graphene still called a Ceramic Coating?

Graphene alone will not form a coating. Period.  Graphene is a flat non-reactive plane, it will not form a bond with other things.

Graphene coatings are coatings with graphene molecules grafted onto the ceramic backbone.  If you think of the graphic of the graphene oxide, the tails you see sticking up are what is grafted onto the ceramic molecule.  The Ceramic molecule bonds with the car, and the graphene portion of the molecule is on top, forming the surface of the coating.

Instructions for Paint & Glass:

  1. Prepare your glass or painted panel by using the supplied 4oz bottle of Adam’s Surface Prep. Adam Polish surface prep to clean and degrease the prepared surface from any environmental residue. For prior application of ceramic coating, its recommended to user to wash, Clay bar and Polish their surface prior to application of the ceramic coating.
  2. Adam Polish Graphene Ceramic bottle and dispense few drops of the liquid onto the supplied Micro Silk applicator. Work the product into the surface, ensuring full coverage over the desired area, using cross hatching motions and overlapping your previous pass by 25 to 50%. During this time between passes, utilize Adam’s UV Flashlight for inspections. Kindly take a note between the body lines, bumper areas, mirror caps, and commonly missed areas on your vehicle. To ensure whether the coating is properly applied check with the help of the light should shine and reveal an even and consistent bluish hue of light.
  3. Once Adam Polish Graphene Ceramic Paint Protection has been penetrated into the applied surface, begin leveling the coating by applying minimal pressure with the microfiber towel. Always wipe down in a similar cross hatch pattern for proper leveling and periodically for fully leveling the coating.
  4. Once fully leveled, allow the ceramic coating to be fully cure for next 24 hours, free from water, elements, or weathering.

Instructions for Plastic Trim & Headlights:

  1. Prepare your headlights or plastic trim by using the bottle of Adam’s Surface Prep and edgeless utility towel to clean or grease the surface from existing residue or elements. For heavily contaminated plastic trim or headlights, we recommend to have a deep cleanse with Tire & Rubber Cleaner and an edgeless utility towel.
  2. Adam Polish Graphene Ceramic bottle and dispense few drops of the liquid onto the supplied Micro Silk applicator. Work the product into the surface, ensuring full coverage over the desired area, using cross hatching motions and overlapping your previous pass by 25 to 50%.   1. Prepare your wheels by using Adam’s Surface Prep and edgeless utility towel to clean or degrease the surface of any existing residue or elements. For heavily contaminated wheels, we recommend to clean with Adam’s Wheel Cleaner, or any other Wheel Cleaner. In addition to this also use a Fine Grade Clay Bar and Detail Spray to initially remove stubborn contaminations.
  2. Adam Polish Graphene Ceramic bottle and dispense few drops of the liquid onto the supplied Micro Silk applicator. Work the product into the surface, ensuring full coverage over the desired area, using cross hatching motions and overlapping your previous pass by 25 to 50%. Frequently Asked Questions

“How many layers you can apply on the painted surface?"

You can apply maximum of 2 layers which will protect the painted surface and will shows the same hydrophobic properties.

“What is Ceramic Glow Technology?”

Adam’s Polishes Patent technology is Ceramic Glow Technology. This is crystalline form of an optical brightener that will absorbs energy and emits light as it relaxes back down to a lower energy.

“What’s the difference between fluorescence and phosphorescence?”

Length of time that the light is emitted. In another way the amount of time it takes for the electrons to relax and release energy in the form of light or photons.

“Does the UV light act as a durability indicator for the coating?”

No, it doesn’t. This is currently offered as visual aid for us to confirm whether the area is coated or not. Lack of glow shows that this area is not coated with the paint protection.

“Why does the product glow more intensely on some substrates than others?”

Differences in porosity and the ability of the coating to penetrate and bond to different surfaces will cause different levels of film thickness. The thicker the film, the more intense the glow typically.

“Will my car glow blue in the sunlight?”

No, because this Graphene coating is completely invisible and clear under standard light. The coating will only glow a bluish light under the 395 NM UV light.

“Can I top this UV coating over top of any Ceramic Coating?”

Yes, this product can be used over the top of any branded Ceramic Coating. The top most layer of the paint protection coating will glow as the light will reflect and exciting top layer.

“How can I use this on? Can I just spray the whole car with this bottle?”

Adam’s Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating provides protection to all areas of your vehicle. Painted surfaces, Glass, Wheels, Plastic trim, Bed liners, Headlights Tonneau covers, Canvas tops, Floor mats, Unfinished metal are safe after coated. We strongly recommend that you go panel by panel to ensure coating is properly applied and will have much control of spray. This will not cause overspray.

“How long should I wait for the coating to be cured?”

One of the major benefits of Adam’s Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating is that its ease of use, longer working time, and the faster curing process. Adam’s Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating is dispensed through a sprayer, it starts curing as soon as you its sprayed and the product flows onto the towel. Once it’s applied to the painted surface or any surface intended for treatment it will show rainbow color for 1-2 minutes, then remove with a premium microfiber towel. After the coating is applied, you need to keep it safe and element-free for about 3-4 hours.

"What happens if I forget a particular spot or end up with a high-spot?"

If I forget a spot and you can remove it within 10 – 20 minutes. After that you can simply reapply to that effected area and wipe it off after 1-2 minutes. If this is left on for longer period then its recommended to use Brilliant Glaze and a microfiber applicator or machine polishing with Polish to fully remove this imperfection.
